Anaxi

Anaxi is highly absorbing, adrenalized fun for 2 to 6 players. Everyone is in on the action from start to finish - no turn-taking - as players race to jot down as many people, places or things that have overlapping qualities as possible in one minute. Only answers not duplicated by another player earn points, so speed, originality, and output are all factors in scoring. In each round, 3 circular cards, each with a single, common word on it, are arranged in an overlapping pattern. The timer is flipped and players start writing. For example, if the words 'small' and 'tasty' overlapped, a player might write 'peanuts.' A more original (and far less likely to be duplicated by another player) answer might be 'sugar-coated ants.' Answers can be challenged and voted down, adding to the competitive fun and excitement. The stunningly original design of Anaxi's plastic playing cards make setup for each round near-instantaneous. The player with the most points after 5 rounds wins!
