BuppaLaPaloo

At first glance, BuppaLaPaloo may appear to be just an adorably soft and cuddly bear, but it is far more than that. With each press of the left paw, BuppaLaPaloo sends positive, empowering messages to children with statements like 'I love being happy,' 'I'm so powerful,' 'I can be anything I want to be,' 'I love my body,' and many others, each spoken in a warm and enthusiastic voice. Children internalize these powerful affirmations by repeating them back to the bear in first person statements, a process that promotes self-love and a strong sense of self. Pressing the other paw lets children (or parents) record and play back their own empowering, loving messages. It's a wonderful concept. Over the course of their young lives, children unfortunately also receive less-than-constructive messages from a variety of sources and in many different forms. Having the strong sense of self and established practice of self-soothing and affirming that BuppaLaPaloo helps provide can make a world of difference.
