Twisting Beads made from Sustainable Wood

These colorful Twisting Beads exert an almost magnetic pull on a young one's attention. The eight wooden beads, made from natural, sustainable wood with water-based paints, are connected by a very strong elastic string that holds them in a close but easily manipulable cluster. The pleasure with which children physically explore the beads quickly evolves into fascination as they twist, pull and shape the colorful spheres into near-endless configurations. Their size (a bit more than one inch in diameter) makes them easy to hold, gum and chew, and the ultra-smooth surfaces offer relief for teething gums. The mesmerizing effect of these activities brings with it many rewards, including sensory and motor skill development, establishment of cognitive and creative learning pathways and, not least of all, a happily and productively engaged baby.
