The I AM Technique
As was the case with the I AM Technique for children and early teens, this third installment consists of a four-layer approach that includes two guided meditations and two 10-minute restoring sessions (one upbeat for daytime, the other ambient for nighttime). The content is focused on countering the negative self talk so common among teens and young adults. The collective pressures confronted during this time of major transition include physiological changes, academic testing, college life, and the daunting prospect of impending financial self-support. The skillfully guided meditations offer a healing respite during which listeners relax, refuel and center themselves. The two 10-minute restoring sessions contain entertaining, engaging music interwoven with spoken affirmations that build and support a mental/emotional framework rooted in positive thinking. Together, these audio sessions strengthen self-esteem and positive behavioral patterns while fostering the listener's sense of empowerment to create a wonderful, successful life.
