The companion app/command center offers three core modes that act as springboards to a variety of wildly entertaining play. In Training Mode, users can have the robot perform complex physical actions paired with specific dialogue or put him through real time maneuvers while live-streaming visuals to their device via the camera in his helmet. Mission Mode employs augmented reality to morph the robot's and user's world into an exciting, mission-based game. A facial recognition feature lets the Stormtrooper Robot store and recognize up to three people, enabling him to determine who should be allowed into a given area and who should be kept at bay. Infrared sensors in his feet detect and avoid hazardously steep drops, while three microphone arrays allow him to detect and respond to voice commands from multiple directions.
