Janod Musical Spinning Top puts a magical world at little ones' fingertips, a richly detailed, fun-filled farm scene encased in a plastic dome with a bright red handle sitting on top. A suction cup base holds the toy steady while the scene springs to life in response to pumps of the handle. The external dome begins spinning, as does a column of stacked colors at its center. A tractor pulling two carts begins moving along a circular path that passes between the center column and the half dozen farm animals lining the top's perimeter. This fascinating visual activity works entirely manually, but inserting 2 AA batteries (not included) activates delightfully realistic animal and tractor sounds in addition to those movements - cows, sheep, a horse whinnying, rooster crowing, ducks quacking, and more. The combined height of the top plus base totals 8 inches, while the pump handle adds 4 inches when fully extended.
