Telly the Teaching Time Clock is an extraordinarily fun and effective way for children to learn to tell both digital and analog time. There are two distinct modes of play from which to choose. In "Tell Time" mode, kids can turn Telly's analog clock hands in 5 minute increments, stop wherever they please, and hear Telly announce the time aloud while the digital display automatically updates to match the analog. In "Quiz Game" mode, Telly asks children to turn the clock's hands to various times shown on the LCD display and responds enthusiastically when they get it right or with encouraging words if they get it wrong. Telly's colorful character-like physical presence and cheerful verbalizing make for a highly engaging educational experience that feels more like playing with a new friend than anything effortful. Telly includes an on/off button with two volume settings, a real working clock and a night-light. Requires 3 AA batteries.
