SmartGames Horse Academy held many a delight in store for those who set their minds to solving its challenges, not to mention ample benefits to their mental acuity. The goal is to create a path from a given starting point on the game board to a specified end point such that your horse will jump the colored obstacles in the required order. The start and end points in each of the 80 puzzle challenges vary from one to the next, as do the number of obstacles and the sequence in which they must occur. Because the board offers a restricted space in which to accomplish these feats using rectangular tiles that have linear and curved paths inscribed on them (with colored hurdles affixed on top), this is very much about using logic, problem solving and spatial reasoning skills. Even more so, it is about the addictive pleasure of finding oneself deeply engaged in the pursuit of each solution and the triumphant feeling that accompanies finding it. Contents include 1 game board, 1 exit gate, 10 puzzle pieces with obstacles and paths, 1 horse with rider and 1 booklet with 80 challenges!
