What Time is it?

This bingo-style game proved both buoyantly fun and exceptionally effective at helping children learn to tell time and understand the underlying concepts, with numerous practical and educational benefits to be gained along the way. Kids take turns flipping over a bingo card to see if the time displayed matches that of any of the spaces on their My Day card. Illustrations on both depict family characters in circumstances indicative of the hour (e.g. readying for bed in the evening or sound asleep during the wee hours), a lovely touch that serves to anchor the learning while adding a relatable story-like dimension. Quiz cards periodically pop up (feel free to omit these to simplify play for younger children) prompting players to draw a Guess the Time card and attempt to position the hands on the big clock to the correct analog or digital time.
