Available in Spanish, French, or Mandarin Chinese, Set 2 continues to build youngsters' vocabulary and pre-reading skills through a series of engaging and accessible early reader books. Each box set includes 10 beginning readers that incorporate a host of strategies proven to promote early literacy and language acquisition skills: story-based immersion, simple sentences, repetition, context, color coding and more! Each of the ten 16-page reader books has a distinct theme (e.g. Food, Verbs, Tableware, Art supplies, . . .) and weaves 10 theme-related vocabulary words into the content, for a total of 100 new words and phrases. Each reader includes access to online audio narration by native speakers that helps to reinforce proper pronunciation. The playfully illustrated, story-based format propels kids to take in one reader after another, an enjoyably immersive process that makes it all the easier for them to fully absorb the new vocabulary.
