The 24 Game is remarkable for the way in which it stimulates and builds logical thinking and problem solving skills. Each problem, known as a game card, starts off displaying four numbers. The goal is to achieve the number 24 by creating a series of equations using basic math operations, one pair of numbers at a time. Each number can be used only once in this process. The genius of the game resides in both the simplicity of the steps and the way it requires a player to think ahead. Will the sum of these two numbers multiplied by that number minus the remaining number equal 24? Of course, that's just one possible sequence out of many. At each step, the player has full discretion to choose which remaining numbers to use, their order, and what operation to apply to them.
