This educational app was designed specifically for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and makes for an excellent way to help kids learn basic concepts and successfully navigate common social situations. Upon opening the app, two options are colorfully presented: Today's Games, which, if selected, displays 5 play options (all of which change from day to day) and Explore Games, which reveals 16 categories containing upwards of 200 interactive learning games and social scenario videos. The highly engaging games are wide ranging in their carefully-chosen content and cover invaluable concepts such as daily activities, picture association, pattern recognition, letters, numbers, language and much more. The social story videos entertain while helping significantly to instill behaviors and emotional reactions that can lead to positive outcomes in social situations. There is a playful simplicity to the artwork and animations throughout the app to which kids respond enthusiastically and the games are appropriately brief while working to great cumulative effect in teaching a host of essential skills!
