This action-filled app lets young car aficionados scan any of Mattel's 2015 mainline diecast cars and release a virtual version of that vehicle into the digital world. There they'll use boosts, twists, turns, jumps, loops, and skids to engage in radical stunts in a multitude of lifelike track environments. The free app comes preloaded with Lightning McQueen and two virtual worlds with a total of nine different tracks to roar through, so kids will experience plenty of action without purchasing a single item. But scanning real-world diecast vehicles like Miguel Camino, Nat McLugNut, Michael Honksel, and numerous others into the digital mix provides a double-dose of fun. In addition to buying and scanning physical vehicles, more than 80 cars can be purchased directly within the app, enabling players to collect their favorite Cars characters with ease. Other in-app purchases expand the number of rip-roaring tracks for players to power through.
