Garden Science delivers a multitude of educational games whose five topics (Fruits, Flowers, Insects, Crops, and Birds) are rooted in our own back yards. The visuals have a distinctive flair kids find highly appealing. The games provide quick, easily navigable fun and learning. Some are new twists on popular classics such as matching pairs, bingo, flip and match, sorting, and puzzles, while others, like Pest Control, Dodging Game, and Seed Dispersal, provide equally fun, less familiar fare. The knowledge readily gleaned from these games consistently revolves around the five nature categories mentioned above, yet the learning is not at all restricted to those topics. The games do plenty to develop logic, reasoning, and enhanced motor skills while teaching kids to identify and categorize an abundance of items from the natural world. Available free at both the App Store (for iOS devices) and Google Play (for Android devices) with in-app purchases available to enhance the fun and learning.
