Touchtronic Numbers provides a delightful combination of tactile and digital fun that helps students absorb and retain what they learn. Kids learn counting, greater than, less than, equations, and place value. The set includes the numbers 0 through 9 and six equation symbols that, when placed onscreen, interact with two free iPad apps. The Touchtronic 123s app includes games in which kids count people and animals on a train, answer whether one number is greater than, less than, or equal to another, and solve equations. With the Place Value Fish app, kids create three-digit numbers using their Touchtronic Numbers to indicate place value position (hundreds, tens, or ones). As they place the number onscreen, that quantity is spoken aloud and a number of fish appear (with an option to switch to abacus beads or blocks) to indicate the quantity. The set includes a handy storage bag for fun and learning on the go.
