It's easy to see why this collection of songs appeals to children. The cute, cuddly characters who sing the songs (videos of which are downloadable free when the album is purchased as digital files) are themselves youngsters, a fact that's evident from their voices and the things they think and sing about. In other words, children find them highly relatable. The 12 original songs, which range from straight-up pop to rock and hip-hop tendencies, have a contemporary feel, with catchy lyrics and up-on-your-feet beats. Some songs, like Body Bop and Let's Get Fit, directly call on kids to get physical, the lyrics taking them through various moves to the music. Others, like Count On You, have clearly discernible educational content (in this song's case, counting by 10). If there is an overriding theme throughout the album, it is one of positivity and encouragement. Kids hear that and take it in, and that's a good thing.
