Camp Andyland is a collection of 16 remarkably fun, catchy pop songs kids will find themselves laughing and singing along to from the very first listen. The entire album is tremendous fun, yet certain selections inspire almost perpetual replay. Pirate Song, for example, is an incredibly entertaining tune sung from the standpoint of what surely must be the youngest pirate ever to set off to sea. The joyously funny 'I Went to a Party with Dinosaurs' is a prime example of Andy Z's knack for crafting clever wordplay perfectly suited to tickling kids' funnybones. And we would be remiss if we neglected to mention this singer-songwriter's talent for concocting silly voices, an ability on full display in Cecil (The Serpentine Dragon). Camp Andyland contains many other standout songs filled with memorable melodies and lyrics and loaded with laugh-out-loud moments. In fact, Andy (Mr. Z?) seems so perfectly attuned to the inner workings of children's heads and what makes them happy, one can only assume he is just a big (and very talented) kid himself!
