Imo the Hippo is a uniquely creative product with the feel of an arts and crafts project. Both parent and child will treasure the time shared on it, and the resulting floor, table, or wall lamp will playfully accent any room it's in. The design, rooted in the concept of origami, allows Imo to be put together by folding and tucking sheets of pre-cut 100% recycled plastic. The plastic is already creased at every point where folds are to occur, so it is easy to assemble, yet great practice for digital motor skills. A safety certified LED light (with USB connector) illuminates the finished hippo from within. There are three distinct sub-projects - Imo's head, Imo's body, and a set of binoculars, which the designers were clever and waste-conscious enough to fashion from the off-cuts from the hippo pieces. In addition to making a fabulous lamp, Imo's head doubles as a hat/role-play toy, making this hippo a lasting, playtime addition to any household.
