Call it simply brilliant (or brilliant simplicity, if you will), but every parent who laid eyes on the Munch Mitt said something along the lines of, 'Ohhh, what a great idea, I wish I'd thought of that!' Babies seemed to agree, finding this adorable little mitt (secured to the hand with a built-in, adjustable velcro strap) to be a fascinating, eminently munch-able distraction from fussing. The top portion, made from food grade silicone (BPA- and phthalate-free) and shaped with bumps and ridges, functions as an excellent teether. That it can't be dropped is a feature that spares Mom and Dad from having to repeatedly respond to a baby disgruntled yet again by the pesky effects of gravity. The polka-dotted lower portion of the mitt, which responds to touch by emitting a nice, crisp 'crinkle' sound, is no less entertaining. The Munch Mitt works equally well on either hand and comes with its own wash/travel bag. Complies with all current U.S. CPSC, ASTM, and CPSIA regulations.
