A Taste of China, with its lavishly-illustrated game board and imagination-stirring play, serves up culinary and geographical adventures that highlight China's enviably diverse terrain, resources and cuisines! Players earn points by taking food orders and completing delivery of those orders by traversing the board on rolls of the die. The steps moved on any given turn can be less than or equal to the number rolled, a feature that encourages players to employ strategic thinking at all times. Order cards display the name of the food ordered along with an appetizing image and description of the prepared dish as well as the colors and names of the starting and destination cities. Among the many lovely things about this game are the numerous ways in which it conveys the richness of China's cuisines, the locales from which they sprang, and the essentialness of food in Chinese culture as it relates to creating harmony and well being in daily life!
