This exceptionally fun, fast-moving game gets everyone laughing from the get-go as players race to get teammates to guess what they are drawing before time runs out. One of several ways in which Artsy Fartsy keeps its entertainment value at peak levels from start to finish is by giving everyone a stake in the action regardless of whether or not it's their team's turn. If time runs out without the artist's team guessing correctly, any team can win the point if one of their players is first to call out the answer. There are also STEAL! cards that allow a team to jump in and guess the answer even when it's not their turn. Further spicing up the action are special cards that require artists to draw using their non-dominant hand or with their eyes closed. All of these nicely-integrated elements serve to keep the play perpetually fresh and exciting, but none more so than the high degree of levity inherent in what's being drawn, foreshadowed by category titles such as DON'T EAT THAT!, HOW EMBARRASSING!, THAT STINKS! and many others.
