It is easy to see why Battle Pufs' imagination-stirring back story, vividly-defined characters and exciting strategic possibilities captured players' interest from the get-go! The highly engaging game play commences with each player being dealt 7 Battle cards and 3 face-up Pufs cards. Turns are then taken in which one player at a time is given the opportunity to attack an opponent's Puf, an action that often unleashes bouts of interactive defending and attacking until the conclusion of that particular battle. A variety of Power cards juice up the action even further by giving players the ability to do things like steal cards from other players, fortify their Pufs, make them invisible to other players, and much more! Players continually contemplate which Pufs to attack next while keeping a keen eye on defending their own since once any player is out of Pufs they are out of the game. With two distinct ways to play and plenty of strategic nuance to explore and employ, this 2 to 5 player game makes for a wonderfully entertaining pastime for any gathering of friends and family!
