Bold Made offers a delightfully updated take on the classic family game Old Maid in which the theme revolves around brilliant and accomplished women whose contributions have been truly impactful on the world in which we live. There are two options for play, the first of which functions similarly to the original with the major difference being that the deck is comprised of 40 Bold Women cards plus a Bold Made card that bestows winner status on the player to possess it at game's end. Each beautifully-illustrated Bold Women card displays the name and image of a woman who has made an indelible mark on history, with inventors, writers, artists, activists, scientists, Supreme Court justices and many others receiving their due. The Advanced Play option incorporates an additional 34 cards (included) into the deck, Action Cards and Wild Cards that substantially spice up the action and allow thinking players to get a surprising amount done in a single turn. In a lovely added benefit, the rules booklet includes bios for all 40 of the women displayed on the cards, titans within their fields whose achievements will never be forgotten.
