This colorful, inviting set helps kids develop early reading and writing skills using simple phonics words. The set's fun and effectiveness is further enhanced by the ease and simplicity of its use. Each card has two or three words on it. Kids work their way from card to card, filling in missing letters representing a specific sound (short a, hard g, etc.). Each word has a playful illustration above it of the object represented by the word, and the top of each card tells you the type of sounds with which you'll be working. Cards are grommeted together at one end, and the accompanying non-toxic dry-erase marker comes with an eraser, making it quick and easy to start over when practicing.
