Have you ever wanted to see a bug up close from every possible angle without, you know, touching it? Wild Creations has come out with Bug's World, a fantastic way to get up close and gain a high level of visual detail on bugs encased in crystal clear resin blocks. Each block (there are 6 in each pack) contains a single real and colorful insect specimen. And to enhance the experience, each block comes with a matching card that provides a detailed, scientific description of the insect. Our set of blocks included a wasp, a scorpion, a very unusual and spiky spider, a couple of rugged beetles, and a Heteroptera Pyrrhocoridae (don't ask). Bug's World is a great way to discover the peculiarities of each insect variety. The blocks really tend to attract attention (just put them out on a table while friends are over and watch people gravitate) and look surprisingly handsome just about anywhere. They're also nicely pocket-sized.
