Crayola Crayon Factory melts crayons into molds from which they emerge as multicolor 3D creations - a sports car, puppy, a smiley-faced heart. It's an exciting process with just the right amount of mad scientist to it, one that absolutely wows kids. That fun factor is all the greater due to the enticingly colorful appearance of the Crayon Factory Unit (a device that might look at home in a Willy Wonka factory) and the visibility of the process as the transformation takes place. It's simple and easy, too. Just drop an unwrapped crayon or pieces equivalent to a total crayon into the top of the tube, insert your mold of choice into the chamber below, and press the yellow button. Lights flash, and in just a few minutes the crayon drops down and starts to melt and drip into the mold before your eyes. After melting, the reshaped crayon cools until the unit tells you it is time to open the mold and admire your handiwork. Adult supervision required.
