Dash and Dot are are remarkably entertaining, interactive robots that teach children how to code. A growing suite of free mobile apps (Wonder, Go, Blockly, Path, Xylo, . . . ) for iOS and Android devices lets kids explore how to program Dash and Dot from a tablet or smartphone by manipulating onscreen graphics. Behavioral commands can be issued either one at a time, or, more importantly, as a series of commands that the robot will execute in sequence.
