We don't see enough products that enable children to make music with their own hands. Do Re Mi Musical Blocks do that and engage kids on several other levels as well. There are eight blocks in all, each with a different size (and pitch) xylophone bar affixed to the top, enough to play an entire octave of the C major scale . Each hollow block is larger than the next, and they come nested so that the entire set fits compactly within the largest block. When it's music or play time, simply lay all the blocks side by side. The result is a sizeable, attractive, brightly illustrated musical instrument. Each block has illustrations and information introducing children to a different musical instrument. The blocks also stack beautifully, rising to a height of 45 inches. Each block is marked on top with the note's letter name, its pitch (do, re, mi, etc.), and musical notation.
