This is an exceptionally fun game in which every move counts. Each player starts with a bird playing piece and a given number of energy chips of varying point values. The goal is to be the player with the most energy points once all players' birds have made it to their nests. Flying burns up energy points (paid by you before the end of your turn) equal to the number of spaces you move. But you also collect energy chips of varying values from the spaces you land on, and the key is to come out ahead on those exchanges. You'll typically have several destination options on a given move, so determining in advance which of those will net you the biggest payoff is a priority. A smart move also takes into consideration the values of chips in the vicinity of each destination, since those represent point gains on future moves. Adding to the fun is the fact that the board, which is comprised of sections, is continually changing. Its rearmost sections are removed and new ones added to the front as players advance towards the nests. With players constantly managing their resources, evaluating options, and planning ahead, the experience of playing eat & tweat is exhilarating fun. 2 - 6 players.
