Furry Foodies is a delectably fun party and family game that keeps kids joyfully engaged from start to finish. Each player assumes the identity of one of six hungry cats (each with a delightful bio in the instructions) striving to sneak plates of food off the edge of the household table. That 'table' is an ever-changing 5 x 5 grid of tiles, the 'sneaking' achieved by a given player pushing a line of tiles until one protrudes outside the grid and thus becomes theirs. Taken tiles are stored, visible to all players, until the end of the game when they are typically worth points. While the strategies employed are generally simple (surveying the grid, considering the consequences of each possible move), players employ them plentifully, keeping brains active and sharp. At game's end, each player forms sets and sequences from tiles thus acquired, a process that requires finesse in order to optimize one's points. Furry Foodies' highly amusing themes, colorful components and extraordinarily well-crafted game play made it a hands-down favorite among our playtesters and one that we here at Tillywig predict will become an instant classic!
