The Garden Part-Whole Board incorporates several exceedingly fun puzzles and games through which children are able to rapidly develop a variety of mathematical and problem-solving skills. The front of the game board displays a garden-like setting segmented into 3 sections that, in conjunction with the set's owl counters, question cards and number tokens, makes the process of understanding and calculating sums and differences a simple matter. The back of the board shows a 4 X 5 grid onto which number tokens are placed in varying setups that train kids' brains to apply reasoning and problem-solving skills in finding solutions. One such task asks the child to trace a circuitous path from 1 to 20 among numbers that are considerably out of order. Another challenges youngsters to correctly order a series of randomly placed numbers by pushing them around in a grid that has only one open space, a restriction that makes getting each number to its correct position a challenging and rewarding multi-step process.
