The first thing one notices about Globetrotter is the grandness of its colorful playing board, a standout in terms of size, quality and visual appeal. The rest of the components (listed below) are similarly eye-catching and of unusually high quality. Players take turns rolling Globetrotter's 2 large wooden color dice, collecting matching-colored travel tickets that allow them to travel the world by moving their playing pieces along a variety of color-coded routes on the board. The objective in choosing which routes to take is to win any of the 4 public position cards currently showing by landing on a matching position on the board. Further spicing up the play options are Event Cards that can unleash random events such as epidemics, wildfires, meteor strikes and more that may affect route access or result in ticket penalties. The first player to acquire 6 position cards and return to their unique starting position wins!
