The makers of HEXBUG keep outdoing themselves, no small feat given that each product they've come up with has been among the most exciting playthings of the year. HEXBUGS are high-tech micro robotic creatures that use the physics of vibration to propel themselves along any horizontal surface. HEXBUG Warriors are fiercer-looking than their predecessors. And rightly so, given that their purpose is to represent one of four dueling science academies in the future by doing battle. Equipped with mechanical weapons and armor, they zip, flip, and careen around the enclosed track, pivoting corners and delivering broadsides to their opponents. When in Battle Mode, a Damage Indicator Light enables you to track a battle's progress. Each hit a warrior takes reduces its health, its light changing from green to yellow to red while blinking with increasing speed. With enough hits, a warrior is disabled, becoming still and lifeless. The battle may be over, but the push of a button is all it takes to revive it to fight another day. There are two assorted sets available with different pairs of opposing warriors. The stadiums are inter-connectable and customizable, allowing for the creation of a mega-stadium in which all comers can join the fray!
