High Tail It, like a number of other excellent board games from publisher SimplyFun, has a way of getting your brain crackling, your mind working in new and different ways. Shortly after starting play, you find yourself seeing patterns and relationships that eluded you moments before. The further you get into game play, the more vivid those connections, and your ability to spot and anticipate them, become. That's the sign of a good game. High Tail It has Kangaroo pieces that players walk and jump around the board. The first player to get all 5 of their own Kangaroos around the board and across the river, wins. Jumping is where the real action is at, because you can really cover some terrain, either through large jumps or multiple jumps in a single move. But being good at jumping requires seeing the possibilities, setting them up, and making sure none of your Kangaroos gets left behind. You'll be surprised at what your brain can do when you're having fun.
