Hungry Dino Learning Maze is an enjoyable way for little ones to practice counting and to learn numeric concepts relating to quantity through hands-on play. An imagination-stirring design and interactive audio and visual elements prompt and reward the child along the way with words, actions and fun sound effects. When the unit is turned on a friendly voice (a switch allows the choice of English or Chinese language) issues an invitation to feed Dino any of 5 colorful plastic fruit slices that come with the set and keeps a verbal running tally of the slices added. The vertically-oriented Dino has a clear belly through which youngsters observe the fruit slices rolling down an interior maze-like track, an exciting action-reaction visual that stimulates kids to keep playing and learning. In addition to the Counting Mode outlined above, there is also a Game Mode in which children are asked to feed varying quantities of fruit ranging from 1 to 5 slices into Dino and are given feedback as to whether or not the quantity added was correct.
