Everyone loves finding a hidden prize. Perhaps that's why what we most noticed while observing kids with the Ice Age Excavation Kit was their growing sense of excitement, curiosity, and wonder as their hammers and chisels gradually revealed what lay hidden within each solid blue block. Thrills, too, as more and more of what was unearthed became recognizable - a rib cage? A tusk? - and an eagerness to see it all unveiled! But there's no rushing this work. To do so might damage the precious contents. So patience (but only a little) is required. Once all of the pieces have been found, they can be readily assembled into a detailed, display-ready skeleton replica.
