Inventors Lab is more than just a cutting edge construction kit. It's a tool that promotes innovation, problem solving, and collaboration. Its pieces are designed to fit together without the use of screws, clips, glue, or any ancillary tools. All you need are your hands and your mind. The design is such that the pieces fit and hold together very tightly, allowing the solid construction of inventions ranging from simple to elaborate. Rather than having the vast variety of components found in some kits, here there are only three - wheels, beams, and brains. Brains are black rectangular pieces into which beams can be inserted at a variety of angles and positions, and which have grooves at regular intervals along the outside. These allow them to interconnect with beams in a surprisingly high number of ways, and enables wheels to be directly and securely attached to them as well. The ingenious simplicity of these three building-blocks provides tremendous structural flexibility, inspiring the inventor within us to problem solve and to create something new. Hand in hand with the physical product, Hanz is building an online community in which inventors can compete and where challenges will be posted and solved.
