The Kidizoom Smartwatch DX packs an awful lot of fun into one small package. It has a simple, intuitive touch screen interface that offers over a dozen types of activities, many of which contain several additional modes of play within them. The result is dozens of creative, educational, and active play options at your child's fingertips. The Games and Discoveries sections contain several standouts, and more can be downloaded from Learning Lodge. One simple, hilarious favorite was Sound Shaker, which offers a variety of playful sound effects triggered by the watch-wearer's movements. Even something as simple as telling time becomes an adventure with a huge range of digital and analog clock faces available at a tap or swipe. Additional features (calculator, alarm, timer, stopwatch, calendar, and pedometer, . . .) enhance kids' regular daily activities. Photos and videos are particularly easy to shoot, and a micro USB cable (included) makes it simple to transfer files between watch and computer.
