This 253-piece building set includes three mini-figures - Zane (the ninja of ice), the powerful General Cryptor, and Min-droid, the miniature Nindroid Warrior - each with his own prowess, weaponry, and array of physical details. The Destructoid, a mobile purveyor of destruction if ever there was one, is the showboat of this set. Its command center - a fully rotatable platform that sits atop tank-like treads and has huge, arm-like appendages fanning out on either side - will cut a swath through anything in its path. Those mech arms are made all the more imposing by their fearsome weaponry (a large, rotating saw, a shield, and an over-sized, scimitar-shaped sword among them) and can be flexed and posed for battle. Gliding the Destructoid forwards or backwards causes two ground-level blades to spring into motion, chopping away. Pulling and releasing a piece at the rear causes the powerful disc shooter to send discs flying into enemy ranks. Perhaps the most formidable aspect of the Destructoid is the level of visual detail present in its every aspect, a dramatic fierceness that fires up the imagination.
