Logic Box Little Penguin Slide provides an unusually entertaining and stimulating set of logic puzzle challenges that keep kids powerfully engaged and mentally on their toes. Contributing to the high fun factor is the way the illustrated puzzle pieces and game cards tie into the games' storyline. The goal is to help the little penguins in the South Pole Ice Park design the route of slides they are building to form a continuous path from igloos to ice caves. In game A there is just one slide and one igloo and therefore only one route for the player to create, while game B involves routes between multiple color-coded igloos and caves. In either case, each route is accomplished by the player positioning a number of magnetic puzzle pieces displaying slide segments of varying shapes and orientations to form the correct path. There are 60 challenges to explore (30 for game A, 30 for game B), ordered according to increasing difficulty so that kids can confidently build on the skills they develop as they progress. The set comes beautifully packaged in a durable box that makes for a handy storage and carrying case.
