This magnetic sketch book has an inspiring magic all its own. The pen looks like a regular pen, but there's no ink or lead inside it. And yet it draws quite beautifully. That's because the sketchpad has metal particles inside, and the pen, magnets. Wherever you glide the pen along the pad's surface, those particles become visible, creating artwork with textures and an appearance similar to charcoal drawings. One end of the pen is for drawing finer lines, the other for broader strokes. When you want to start over, tap the bottom of the pad a few times and the image disappears. The sketch book itself has a colorful, appealing design, with playful artwork front and back. The inside back cover is the actual sketchpad. Each of the pages has its own beautiful, playful artwork with a large circular cutout in the middle. That cutout shows through to the sketchpad and allows you to fill in the center of the existing artworks, blending your drawing with that of the page's. Or you can turn directly to the sketchpad and work from scratch. Either way, your creativity gets a delicious workout.
