Math Sprint is a fun, fast-moving mental math game that had kids happily honing their skills at every turn, speedily adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing and calling out the answers as a means of advancing their runners on the game board. Each player or team has their own lane on a colorful runner's track, with variable starting positions marked to adjust for playing time length and skill levels. The sprint analogy gets kids' competitive juices flowing right from the start, and it's amazing how quickly youngsters can calculate their answers when excitedly caught up in the fun. The whopping 258-card deck from which the various math problems are drawn also contains specialty cards that spice up the action including wild cards, challenge cards, word problems and tips for how to perform certain operations swiftly and accurately. Bringing physical exhilaration to the mental gymnastics are several spaces on the board that require players to perform quick exercise drills (jogging in place, arm circles, jumping jacks and others), a feature that prompted cheers, laughter and camaraderie all around!
