MimiQ is fast, fun, easy to learn, and plays well across a broad range of ages, making it an ideal party and family game. There's some memory skill involved, but the primary pleasure lies in the array of funny faces players make in order to advance their cause. Every card in the deck displays a kooky illustration of a character making a silly face. The deck contains 3 of each, with 11 different faces in all. The goal is to collect as many 3-of-a-kinds as possible before the deck runs out. After drawing 3 cards apiece, players take turns requesting a card they need from a specific opponent by making the face shown on that card. If the player has it, he hands it over. If not, he sticks his tongue out to signal no, the asker draws another card, and play passes to the left. The skill resides in remembering who asked whom for what so that when a card previously requested lands in your hand, you'll know who has it for the asking. The result is unabashed silliness, frequent movement of cards between players, and an abundance of laughter. For 2 to 6 players.
