Monster Sock Factory is an exceptionally fun and engaging multiplication game that helps children become nimble with numbers. Players have a blast shipping sock packets to cute little multi-legged monsters who need help keeping warm. There are 9 different monsters, each with a number of legs ranging from 1 through 9. After being given 10 sock packets for each type of monster, players take turns receiving and filling orders at the sock factory. In so doing, they must consider not only the various ways the order can be filled, but which approach will serve them best towards winning the game. For example, a player who draws the order quantity 16 could fill that order using either 8 sock packets for 2 legged monsters, 4 sock packets for 4 legged monsters or 2 sock packets for 8 legged monsters. As play progresses, youngsters gain ample experience performing multiplication as repeated addition and, over time, memorizing multiplication facts without even trying. The first player to ship all 10 sock packets for any 6 monsters wins! For 2 to 3 players.
