This exceptionally fun, fast-moving game for kids ages 5 and up has a great deal to offer both educationally and entertainment-wise. Setup and learning the rules require mere seconds. Then it's off to the races as players repeatedly strive to be the first to spot an icon tile on the table whose object begins with the letter shown on a card that was just flipped face up. The process comes naturally to most children, yet there is a lot going on mentally. Surveying the array of image-bearing tiles in search of a correct match requires youngsters to identify each object on the fly as well as to assess the letter with which the word for it begins. As the game progresses and players have scanned the tiles over the course of a few turns, a memory component also emerges. For example, when an R card is flipped a player might recall having previously seen a robot and its approximate location, allowing them to zero in on it more quickly. The player to have collected the most tiles when the deck runs out is the winner!
