This exciting Old Maid-style game with a campground twist retains all the qualities that made the original an eternal classic and then some. It's easy to learn, fast-moving, plays well across all ages, and the winner remains uncertain until the final card has been played! Colorful illustrations throughout the deck featuring Jr. Ranger Boy and Girl and their animal friends engaging in a variety of outdoor activities only adds to kids' enjoyment. Setup is remarkably simple: shuffle and deal out all cards to all players. Since the person stuck with the Grumpy Old Bear card at the end of each round is out, players employ simple strategies in hopes of avoiding this fate. Primary among these is interpreting opponents' physical cues as a means of determining which player holds the unwanted card or, if you are already its holder, acting nonchalant while subtly positioning the Grumpy Old Bear card in such a way as to increase the chances of it being taken. Having a good poker face helps. So does knowing your opponents and being able to engage in friendly but misleading theatrics. Grumpy Old Bear is highly engaging, lighthearted fun, perfect for any trip, party or family gathering!
