The Batapult's shape and size are similar to a traditional baseball bat, and one swings it at a ball in much the same way. But to see it in action (even more so, to use it) is to appreciate the difference between the two. The Batapult has a built-in hinge about a third of the way up its length. During a swing, that hinge enables the bat's upper portion to accelerate, enhancing the strike force to the ball relative to the power of the swing. A child does not have to be a powerhouse to knock one out of the park. A simple swing will do. The results are thrilling to both batter and spectators, and the ease and confidence with which kids get results helps foster enthusiasm to keep at their athletic development. The Batapult (about as cleverly named a product as we've ever seen), has a ringed handle that makes for a strong, comfortable grip, and comes with a foam ball whose dimpled design helps it carry up to 200 feet.
