Pikoko is a trick-taking game with highly enjoyable twists and turns in the game play. For starters, each player can see everyone's hand EXCEPT their own. During setup, each player places his or her 8 card hand in one of Pikoko's color 3D peacock card holders, fanned out and facing away so that only their opponents can see them. All players then use bidding tokens to place bets as to how many tricks they think each player will win. The round proceeds with each player playing the hand of the person to their left. Players' scores at the end of each round are determined by the accuracy of their bets rather than the number of tricks taken, leading to some seemingly counterintuitive card choices that are nevertheless well conceived, strategy-based moves. Adding to the fun are special cards that either boost or reduce a player's score depending on the accuracy of their bet for the round. Pikoko is a fun, addictive, easy-to-learn game with visually appealing, high quality components and an exceptionally nice balance of skill and luck! For 3 to 5 players.
