Qualities is a game in which players learn about themselves, other players, and what other players think about them. Not in a judgmental way. In fact, it's very positive and enlightening, not words one normally associates with a board game. That's part of what recommends it, the fact that the game itself has uniquely enjoyable qualities, and a level of depth that adds to the fun in surprising ways. On each turn a different player is the subject and chooses a question card. For example, the question might be, 'Which trait characterizes me the most,' and the three answer options, drawn from a deck of cards, might be, 'Strong-minded,' 'Sensitive,' or 'Extreme.' The other players then use voting cards to try to predict which answer the subject will choose, winning tokens and cards along the way. The first player to collect 2 Quality Cards from each of the colored sets is the winner, which for some will be beside the point. Qualities takes the measure of how well players know one another while simultaneously furthering that knowledge in a fun, highly interactive way. I'd call that a win-win. For 2 - 7 players.
