This remarkably well-crafted party and family game is wildly entertaining before play even begins! The instructions alone are a delight, detailing the humorous history of the infamous Rabbit Pirate War and the three renowned rabbit pirates whose hidden treasure is now at the heart of a fierce battle. All of this sets the stage for game play in which players launch an all-out rabbit assault to compete for Treasure Tokens stacked atop each of the three island boards. The fast-moving fun proceeds with players repeatedly making bids for treasure without knowing the value of other players' cards until the dramatic reveal at the end of each round. The action is further spiced up by the presence of Giant Crab and Sea Monster cards that, when played, automatically win all three treasure tokens for that round. Rabbit Pirates takes seconds to learn and plays incredibly well across a broad range of ages, making for a highly social, rollicking good time!
